Writing Situation: Sometimes it is interesting to observe animals in the wild and wonder about their lives.

If you could trade places with any animal in the animal kingdom, which animal would you choose and what would your life be like? Think about the fun and interesting things as well as the difficult and dangerous things.

Directions for Writing: Write a story about the animal you have chosen and why you would like to trade places with that animal. Tell about what life is really like for you as that animal.
