  • The Jeans for Teens program has begun.  The Science & Energy Team will recycle blue jeans through a joint project with Aeropostale.  The jeans we collect at WPS will be taken to the Morristown store for distribution to area homeless shelters and safe houses for abused women and children.    Aeropostale has modified the Jeans for Teens program.  They will send jeans to Haiti and match donations from school groups and individuals. That means, for every pair of jeans we donate the company will also give a new pair of jeans to people in Haiti. We will end our blue jean collection on February 16. If you want more details

  • Classroom Supplies - Donations of  Kleenex, hand soap, hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, 409 or other disinfectant cleaning supplies,  paper towels, and Lysol spray would be greatly appreciated.  These supplies are items that are used by all students, or help stop the spread of germs within classrooms.   All teachers  at WPS would appreciate donations of these items throughout the school year.  Thanks for your help!
     

  • H1N1 PREVENTION:  The CDC recommends that all children who experience fever/flu symptoms stay home until 24 hours after all flu symptoms have ceased.   • WPS athletics will have pre-sale tickets for home sporting events this year.  One day prior to a home sporting event, students may purchase student tickets for $2.00.  This is 1/2 of the regular charge.  Tickets will be sold during lunch.
     

  • Please donate your old & used: inkjet and printer cartridges, cell phones, Ipods, MP3 players, and  PDAs. Our school will earn $1.00 for each of the items listed above that we recycle. Collected items may be sent to your child's homeroom teacher.  The money earned with recycled products will be used to maintain the Outdoor Classroom.  *This project is sponsored by the WPS Science and Energy Team.
