Check Staples, Best Buy, Office Depot, etc. during August for special deals on TI calculators.  Last year they had calculators for around $70.

Also, if your school has any old TI81 or TI82 calculators you may contact

1-800-TI Cares to trade them for TI83 calculators for about $40 each.  The TI81 and TI82 editions are outdated and no longer manufactured by Texas Instruments.  The company will replace your calculators with an 83 model since they cannot replace the 81 and 82 models.  NOTE:  Your old calculators MUST  be in NON-WORKING condition in order  to do this.
