Creating Game Cards

Method 1:  Purchase business card templates.  Avery provides FREE software at their website which can be downloaded and used to create templates.  The software asks for a product code that can be found on the packaging.  Download and install the software, then run the wizard to open a Word document which has the template layout that fits the desired Avery product.

Method 2:  Templates for cards can be developed directly in Word.  Before purchasing the business card, check your version of Word for the Avery template numbers available.

Here's How:

1. Open Word

2. Click Tools...Letters and Mailing...Envelopes and Labels.

3. Click the Options button.

4. Scroll through the list of business card product numbers.  Write these numbers down as reference when purchasing the business card templates.

After the template has been purchased, follow these steps:

1. Open Word

2. Click Tools...Letters and Mailing...Envelopes and Labels.

3. Click the Options button and locate the corresponding Avery number.

4. Click OK.

5. Then click New Document.

The document is now ready for you to type your individual cards.
