Netsmartz from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is a terrific site filled with information for young children and for teens.  On the educators page, download the NetSmartz Back-2-School kit including animated videos, lesson plans, and hands-on activities for Primary and Intermediate age children.  This is an interactive site allowing children to learn as they have fun.

Most teens and tweens play games on a computer, cell phone or other device.  View this Gaming Safety Tips sheet from Netsmartz.  Did you know there is a website devoted to rating games?  Go to www.esrb.org.  This site is maintained by the Entertainment Software Rating Board and rates a multitude of games each year. 
 
Hector's World is an excellent free resource for teachers or parents to use in introducing online safety to younger children.  This site is great for 5 and 6 year old students.  There are seven animated episodes that teach students about using the Internet safely and digial citizenship.
 
NS teens helps teens learn about cyberbullying, email, IM, chatrooms, gaming, revealing too much, social networking, and other Internet safety tips through videos, games, and comics online.  The site is also by Netsmartz.
