As the news begins to focus on the upcoming Presidential Election for the United States, this is a perfect time for lessons that correspond to events in our country.  Visit the American Presidency for lessons and resources focusing on various aspects surrounding the United States Presidency and the election process.  Be sure and visit the The Whitehouse for Kids where students can be President for a day and explore a voting booth.  You can also take a virtual tour of the White House.  The Presidential Campaign Game from Education World for grades 9 -12 is another site you do not want to miss!
