The main menu provides links for the community and is located on the left side of the district’s website. 

  • Administrators link supplies administrators and principals with a collection of relevant resources.
  • Our school guidance counselors webpages are linked from the Counselors page, along with resources for teachers and parents.
  • Departments provide contact information for each department in the school district.
  • The Director of School page shares our district’s Five Year Plan.
  • Email Directory list the email addresses for every teacher and administrator in the school system, which is an efficient way for parents to keep in touch with their child’s teacher.
  • The Email Password page provides an online means of changing the Ten-Nash password.
  • The Email Web-Base is a web portal in which employees can check their Ten-Nash email online.
  • Employment provides a listing of all employment opportunities in our district
  • Forms/Benefits supplies a list of district forms and has a link to health insurance benefits information.
  • Each month the district’s Lunch Menu is posted online.
  • The School Board Agenda has an outline of the items covered at each school board meeting.
  • Schools presents a link to each school website in our district.  These are updated on a monthly basis by our district’s school webmasters.
  • Parent, Teacher, and Student resource pages supply additional web resources.
  • School board approved policies are available at System Policies.
  • The Testing link has information concerning required testing for grades 3-12 including practice tests for TerraNova, Gateway, ACT, SAT, and GED.
  • A final link will direct to the State Department of Education.

Quick Links are resources aimed at enhancing teaching and learning and are located on the right side of the district’s website.

  • News shares the latest local and state updates that relate to education.
  • Basic Skills supplies online educational games that focus on skill development in the areas of language arts, math, science, and social studies for grades K-8.
  • The Blueprint for Learning links to the state’s listing of objectives for instruction for grades K-12.
  • The school Calendar presents a listing of county-wide events and scheduled activities.
  • The Curriculum lists the state’s standards with website references to assist teachers and learners achieve objectives.
  • Day by Day is a monthly interactive calendar with links to daily events.
  • Grants shares local and federal grant opportunities for educators.
  • Interactive Websites are K-12 online games and activities based on the content areas of reading, language arts, math, science, and social studies.
  • Literacy Lane is a Four Block Reading resource for teachers with materials provided by local teachers and Jeannette Mulholland, Jefferson County School District’s Reading Specialist.
  • Long Range Planning provides an opportunity for the public to have input into the district’s future plans.
  • A new online subscription service for teachers and students is netTrekker.  netTrekker is an academic search engine contains teacher-approved websites so students can safely search the Internet for school projects and get high quality, academic-relevant results.  netTrekker is web-based, so students can access the product from school or home and use it to work on their homework.
  • A huge database of online or downloadable teaching and learning presentations for grades K-12 based on the core curriculum can be found at the PowerPoint Collection.  Parents and students can view many of these providing an addition practice from home.
  • The Report Card links to the state department of education’s evaluation of the district and its progress toward meeting the goals of No Child Left Behind.
  • Science Online and Social Studies Online share lesson plans, topical websites, interactive games, and worksheets based on the state’s curriculum.  These sites will host the materials created by teachers who are participating in this year’s technology integration staff development project.  The Social Studies Online project will have resources added second semester.
  • The district list training opportunities for teachers at the Staff Development link.
  • Teacher Tools are sites gathered to assist teachers in every aspect of instruction and is divided into three sections:  Curriculum Tools, Tech Tools, and Reference Tools.
  • Online handouts for every course offered through the Tech Center are available through the Tech Tutorials.
  • United Streaming provides online educational videos.
  • Write On furnishes teachers online materials to assist in the instruction of composition.
  • Frequently Asked Questions provides answers to questions concerning transportation, special education, and other informations often sought by those new to the school system.
