WATE 6 has joined with Food City, The American Red Cross, B97.5, FedEx and Second Harvest Food Bank in a very special project.  Pick-up pre-packed bags from special display in your Food City store. Pay for the bags at check out and then drop them off in a collection bin on your way out of store.  All items in the bags are on a list of items approved by the military to be sent to troops. This program is approved by the military.  FedEx will pick up the items from each store and deliver them to the Second Harvest Food Bank's warehouse, where the items will be sorted and prepared for shipping. The American Red Cross will coordinate overseas shipping and distribution to troops. Click here to see participating store locations
