MMS Named Reward School

This year the Tennessee Department of Education began identifying schools as being Reward, Priority, or Focus schools.  The Tennessee Department of Education has announced that  Maury Middle School  is on the list of Reward Schools for growth and progress for the 2011-2012 school year!  Wow!  This is a HUGE honor.    Maury is considered a Reward School because the school is in the top 5% of highest progress schools based on TVAAS data from the last school year.

 Maury Middle School challenges students to excel in academic achievement, social development, and extracurricular opportunities.

We are Maury Middle School. Our school services students in grades six through eight.  We have an enrollment of approximately 675 students.  Our school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.

Our school is situated overlooking beautiful Douglas Lake with awesome views of the Great Smoky Mountains in the distance.
