PowerPoint will place all files associated with
the web presentation in a folder that ends with _files. |
The first page will end with .htm and will be
outside that folder. |
First page of web presentation ends with .htm |
All the rest of the files are located in a
folder ending with _files. |
To upload the presentation a folder must be
created on your web server space with the same name as the folder in which
you saved your files. Inside that
folder you must created yet another folder with the same name as the folder
PowerPoint created ending with _files.
Open the first folder to upload the main presentation file. This file will end with .htm. Then open the folder that ends with
_files and upload all files from your hard drive from the same folder. |

When viewing the presentation on the web all
hyperlink slides, text, and Action Buttons will work the same as they do in
the actual presentation. |
The site URL will be the same name as the main
.htm file. If the site is viewed
using Netscape there will be a small frame in the upper right corner that
will show all the slides in the presentation. If the site is viewed using Internet Explorer, the frame will
be correctly sized and the follow features will be available: |
When on the web you may view all notes in the
outline by clicking the icon for Outline View in the lower left
corner. This view is available
using both Netscape and Internet Explorer browsers. |
The slide show view is only available using
Internet Explorer. The icon is
visible in the lower right corner and allows the user to view the
presentation as a true PowerPoint presentation, even if PowerPoint is not
installed on the user’s computer.
To leave this view the user presses the Escape key on the keyboard. |
