Attention
Teachers With Military Experience!
Tennessee has posted a new provision for salary rating
credit for active military experience: "Acceptable
Military Experience for Salary Rating Purposes: Active
military service in the armed forces of the United States
shall be recognized. Military service in the Reserve or in
the National Guard, other than active duty, shall not be
counted. Not more than five years of experience in the armed
forces of the United States shall be counted." Please
submit a DD Form 214 which documents active military
experience to Virginia Phillips.
