Objectives 
In this lesson, students will: 
· Research a famous American in history
· Create a biographical report
· Dress in costume and present report to classmates

Time Frame 
1 month for research and writing biographical report
Two 45-minute sessions for presentations

Materials
1. Internet access
2. Biography books
3. Student created costumes
4. Video camera

Procedure
1. Instruct students to use the Internet and biography books to research and write a biographical report on a famous American in history.
2. After the report has been developed provide costuming suggestions.  Encourage students to present these reports as if they were the main character.
3. Provide an opportunity for students to make presentation for classmates.  Video tape the presentations.
