Supply List for Jean Jarnigan’s 4^th Grade Class

q       1 large pack of # 2 pencils;

q       1 pack of mechanical pencils (optional)

q       Small pencil box or pencil bag

q       2 packs of wide-ruled loose leaf notebook paper

q       Clipboard folder with 1 outside pocket/2 inside pockets

q       2 composition books, one for Science, one for Writing

q       Large rectangular erasers

q       dry erase markers/eraser (could use an old sock)

q       scissors (small Fiskar-type)

q       colored pencils

q       Kleenex

q       Germ-X to keep at desk

q       Lysol wipes

q       Glue stick

q       Ink pen to check work

q       Water bottle with a sipper top

q       Cushion for chair (optional)

q       12-inch ruler that shows both inches and centimeters

q       Calculator

1.       Please wear tennis shoes for P.E.   Flip flops are not safe on the mulch on the playground.

2.       No trapper keepers or notebooks!   No toys!  No trading cards!

3.       Remember 4^th Grade participates in Space Camp, an overnight program at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL.  The cost is around $135.  Start saving your money now!  Nashville trip in Fall to State Capitol.

Please send in more notebook paper and pencils every 3-4 weeks.  Students never seem to have enough pencilsJ

Our classroom has a kitchen!  Students may schedule a time to cook.

Please review math facts this summer…students, you will be tested on these many times!  Also, a successful reader is a successful student.  I am sending 2 summer reading lists and a list of suggested books.  The public library is a wonderful summer place to visit!
