PTO Collections

 

PTO will be collecting the following things this year:

 

Starting Tuesday, September 8, 2009, we will officially begin our Drink Pouch Brigade.  Attached is information on the brigade, and you may visit the website, www.terracycle.net to receive more information, or you can go on Utube to see a clip about the program from different news channels.  We hope everyone will participate in this program, so that we might not only help the environment by upcycling, but teach our children the benefits of recycling.  A large bin will be placed in the cafeteria area, so that our children can begin upcycling when they finish with their lunches, and are cleaning up.  Volunteers will be needed to help us, clean and sort our collections.  If anyone is interested, please contact the PTO board, or notify a teacher.  A second collection can will be placed in the front entry of the school for those being collected at home.  We thank you for your participation, and hope that we can not only benefit the environment, but be able to use the money toward our school’s needs.  Any collections will need the tops slit open, and be rinsed before we are able to mail the pouches.
