WORDS FROM THE TEACHER
We are now into our third six-weeks of the school year.  I thank you for your support from home and ask that you please continue to listen to your child read every day.  Also study the sight word list and the Spelling list daily.  This daily preparation is essential to your child’s learning process.
 I am sending home flash cards for addition facts.  Use them to increase you child’s skill of recalling the fact and answer.  Ask your child how to play Around the World.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving Lunch in our classroom on Tuesday.  The children made place mats and centerpieces for their place at the table.  We talked about things for which we are thankful.  The children shared their thankfulness for family, food, Jesus dying on the cross, toys, and pets.  We return to school on November 30.
