three classes will participate in and use ICQ communications for the exchange
of antonyms.
Time Frame
One 20-30 minute lesson

In this lesson, students will:

Procedure
Teacher and students in each class will
compile a list of 10 words to be given to the other classes. A student
will type words on ICQ chat to other classes requesting that they reply
with the correct antonym. The first class to respond with the correct
antonym gets to give out next word. Keep working until all lists
have been used. Each student may use dictionary or thesaurus if needed.
The class that uses all words on list first is the winner.
