Admirable Adjectives
Overview
This is an activity which will help teach vocabulary
words and parts of speech
Procedures
-
Cards will be given out to the students which have a
vocabulary word on one side and the definition of a word on another. One
student will begin by reading their definition. The student who has the
word on his card would stand up and "claim" that word. It would then be
his turn to read the definition. The student would also have to state which
part of speech the word belongs to.
