Connie Belliveau, 2009-2010 Teacher of the Year, Grades 9-12
   
Connie Belliveau is an eleventh grade English teacher at Jefferson County High School.  She has a total of fourteen years of experience as a classroom teacher.  She worked to develop the freshmen English curriculum and assembled materials and lesson plans.  She serves as a teacher mentor at the high school and assists new English teachers with the implementation of the curriculum as well as familiarizing them with administrative duties.  Ms. Belliveau was sponsor of the high school Literary Magazine and has offered free after school tutoring for former and current students.  She is an active church member and works in project planning.   The Jefferson County School District is proud to announce her selection as the 2009-2010 Grades 9-12 Teacher of the Year.
