Literacy
Through collaboration of stakeholders our
district has developed a
Comprehensive Plan. One of the objectives
of this plan is to increase reading achievement. The reading
specialist has determined an assessment of our needs. After
identifying the scope of the problem, we plan to move toward the
development of a three-year literacy framework.

Project LEAD if funded through a
partnership with the
Niswonger Foundation.
The Partnership Program provides schools with the resources and
expertise they need to become successful. By helping schools develop and maintain
strong academic programs, the Foundation seeks to enhance the
educational opportunities of all children.
Under the direction of Linda Irwin, each partnership project is
tailored to the particular school and community in which it is
located. |
