Jefferson County Schools health insurance coverage is through the State of Tennessee Benefits Administration. 

Full-time employees may choose between BlueCross BlueShield Network S, CIGNA Local Plus, or CIGNA Open Access for their provider network. 

Participants have 4 benefits schedules to choose from:

Partnership PPO
Standard PPO
Limited PPO
CDHP   

The Health and Dental Plan Open Enrollment Period is in October of each year.  Employees may make changes as needed during this time.  Any changes made will be effective as of January 1 of the upcoming year with premium changes starting on December paychecks.

The Dental and Dental/Vision plans are adminstered through Simple Dental.  

The Group Life Insurance plan is through Unum.  Employees are provided with $20,000 of term life coverage at no cost with the option to take an additional $30,000 for $11.10 per month.  Employees also have the option to add dependent coverage for spouse and child(ren).

Partnership Promise 2017


Information about the Partnership Promise for 2017 can be found at Partnership Promise 2017.

The Partners for Health Website is http://www.partnersforhealthtn.gov/.  Click on the My Wellness Login button to log in to your well-being account.  Our wellness administrator is Healthways.  If you have any problems getting into your account, you should contact customer service at 1-888-741-3390.

 If you have a qualifying event during the year, you have a 60 day window to add or drop dependents on your insurance coverage.

Don't forget to update beneficiaries after life changing events such as marriage or divorce.
